Primary School
Location - Caerphilly
Full time - 8:30-3:30
Pay rate - £12.82ph
Start date - ASAP
Job responsibilities:
- Support students in managing their behaviour and developing positive coping strategies.
- Provide one-on-one or group mentoring sessions to students exhibiting challenging behaviours.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, and external professionals to implement behaviour intervention plans.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting support strategies as needed.
- Create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with students with behavioural challenges in an educational setting.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents/guardians.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience in managing challenging situations.
- Be able to implement behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies effectively.
- Have a passion for supporting the social and emotional well-being of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
