Job description

An SEN school in Bournemouth are seeking a SEN TA for a position starting immediately.

  • 1:1 with a Year 5 child with behavioural needs

You will be working with a Year 5 child with emotional and behavioural needs and will need a patient and caring approach. You must also have an excellent level of written and spoken English, as you will occasionally be meeting with the SENCO, parents, external agencies etc. This will be a role for a SEN TA who is very patient, firm but fair and has perseverance. However, once the child trusts the assistant, he will develop and become more and more well behaved and engaging.

You must also be available for 5 days per week, until the end of this academic year at least.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
