SEN Support Staff

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a high level SEN Teaching Assistant with experience in EBD / BESD / SEMH to work in mainstream schools across Hounslow and Hillingdon. You will be supporting children in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with challenging behaviour. This is larger than your average school size and offers a perfect opportunity for someone looking to develop within the Education sector.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and a committed Teaching Assistant dedicated to making learning fun and interactive. You will be joining an effective and supportive team that works together to help children with EBD access the national curriculum. You will have experience dealing with children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour and will display a range of effective approaches to the management of these needs.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
