SEN Teaching Assistant Position: Mainstream Primary

GBP54-GBP80 per day

The School and Job Teaching Personnel have a long standing relationship with this School in Epsom. They have a specialist support unit on site to cater for children with SEN. The children who needs additional support have their core lessons in the unit in the morning and the remainder of their day is back in mainstream.

They cater for boys and girls with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs with additional special needs such as Autism and Complex Learning Needs.

The most important trait that prospective applicants should have is an engaging personality and a willingness to help. Applicants with a good attitude to work and the ability to be pro-active will thrive in this Primary school.

Minimum Requirements 

• Any relevant SEN/Autism experience or qualifications is desired, however not essential so please still apply
• A passion and enthusiasm to see pupils achieve their best potential 
• Dedication to the needs of all your pupils, working with other staff members to offer emotional and academic support
• A Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or one done through Teaching Personnel
• Good interpersonal skills and confidence
• Punctual and reliable
• Enjoys a challenge

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This will be a temporary position and may go permanent at a later date.
