Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Prestwich, Bury (M25) primary school
- Salary from GBP300 - GBP320 a week
- Start date – September 2020
The role will be for a sports graduate to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils in KS2 with special educational needs. This role will be starting in September 2020 and carry on until the end of the academic year.
The school is set in a deprived catchment area in Bury and the Head teacher is looking for a teaching assistant from a sporting background to support pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health Needs. This will involve 1:1 and small group work in the class room and utilising sport as a therapeutic tool to raise attainment.
The Qualifications:
- A 1st or 2:1 degree in a Sports related degree

This is the perfect position for creative new Graduates wanting to progress their career in teaching and get a good understanding of the role. Previous experience working in a school is beneficial but not necessary.
