Our partner school in Norwich, Norfolk need you!

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a passionate Supply Teacher (NQT, FQT or OTT) for a specialist SEN school in Norwich, Norfolk.

  • This specialist provision massively encourages the development and confidence of each individual pupil, ensuring that class sizes are smaller with additional support staff and students are engaged in their learning and development.
  • The school has a strong focus on well-being with tailored vocational and academic programmes, which families are heavily involved in.
  • Your role will involve encouraging confidence and ensuring pupils aged 11-16 years have access to their education entitlement; you will be teaching a range of subjects to GCSE students who display challenging behaviour and Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues (SEMH).

This is a long-term position, with the possibility of becoming permanent through an introduction with Teaching Personnel.

Essential:

  • You must be a qualified teacher with experience of teaching 11-16 year olds in the UK.
  • Having excellent knowledge of the core curriculum.
  • You should have experience of working with students with SEMH, communication difficulties or complex needs or have a strong interest and a passion to teach pupils with SEN.
  • Due to the location of this SEN school, you must have your own transport or a reliable lift.

Desirable:

  • Enhanced Child Workforce Only DBS, which is also registered on the update service.
