SEN teaching assistant needed in Reading

A special needs school in Reading are hoping to recruit a special needs teaching assistant from September 2017.

Our partner school situated in the Tilehurst area has a great reputation and is looking for someone who will keep up these high standards of care and support for childen with SEN.

The school caters for children and young people aged 2 to 19 who have a range of special needs including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome and other complex learning needs.

The school requires teaching assistants who -

* Have or are working towards a teaching assistant qualification; level 2 or 3 is desirable

* Have experience of working with children and/or young people with special educational needs

* Have additional training such as Team-Teach (Teaching Personnel provide the training)

* Are willing to assist with personal care

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
