Teaching Assistant - Tameside

Our client school in Tameside are looking for a Learning Mentor to commence a post for the summer term. This is a full time and varied role supporting students who have additional learning requirements in areas of social and emotional support, behaviour support or academic support.

With over 1000 students on roll this large mixed comprehensive has modern state of the art facilities providing enjoyable atmosphere to work in. Ideally you will have previous experience in a school or youth work setting interacting and supporting students.

Initially on a long term supply basis to the end of the academic year there is potential for the successful Learning Mentor to continue the role in September and gain a school based contract.

Located in the M34 post code of Tameside the school is just off the M67 and has bus, trains routes close by for those on public transport.

Graded Good by Ofsted in their 2015 report you will be well supported by an experienced management team and working directly alongside the schools SEN co-ordinator. There are a number of key highlights for the successful candidate including;

• Daily pay rates up to £65 per day dependant on experience
