SEN Support Assistants required to work in specialist settings in West Yorkshire

Teaching Personnel are seeking a number of Specialist SEN Teaching Assistants to provide support to pupils with Special Needs across specialist settings in West Yorkshire. We are currently working with a number of schools across Leeds and Bradford, catering for both primary and secondary aged pupils with a wide range of SEN, including Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Global Developmental Delay, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, and Multi-Sensory impairments.

Experience supporting pupils with SEN on either a 1:1 or group basis is essential and training in one or more of the following is highly desirable:

- Team Teach

- Moving and Handling/Personal Care/Hoist training

- PECs

- Makaton and/or BSL

- Intensive Interaction

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
