A Special Educational Needs school located in Addlestone is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with Secondary pupils with physical and sensory impairments. The school has special provisions for the deaf with qualified teachers. This role will involve assisting the teacher by working 1:1 with pupils or working with small groups.
The ideal candidate will display exceptional communication skills and show patience and understanding of those with sensory impairments. This is a highly rewarding role, yet challenging.
Experience working with those with hearing impairments is not essential, but would be an advantage.
