• Are you a fully qualified teacher looking for a new challenge in smaller classes?
• Do you have experience working with pupils with special educational needs in a mainstream education environment?
• Are you passionate about equal education for all?
We want to hear from you!
Teaching Personnel’s North East London SEN branch specialises in the finding inspirational education staff to work across the entire SEN sector, including special schools, pupil referral units and alternative education providers for SEN pupils. We are looking for teachers who can ensure that children with emotional, social, behavioural, physical and learning difficulties receive the education they deserve.
If you are a compassionate, patient and resourceful teacher, we would like you to join our books and get you teaching in the diverse organisations that we work with in North East London. You could be planning and delivering lessons that help dyslexic children, contributing to a holistic education plan that gives children who have experienced traumatic experiences the self-confidence and aptitude to integrate into mainstream education or helping children with profound disabilities achieve their best with dignity and a smile!
Knowledge and experiences of specific needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder is a bonus, but not essential. Really, what we are looking for is someone who has demonstrable experience of keeping an open mind with pupils of all abilities and who can adapt to different learner needs.
We are committed to making sure our teachers are confident and skilled to help pupils thrive in our schools and offer SEN specific professional development training in Autism Awareness; Team-Teach methods of safe, positive intervention; NASEN Supporting SEN…and more!
