Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit fully established teachers with SEN experience to work with a client school based in the Cardiff area. Candidates are expected to keep pupils engaged and on task to meet their learning aim and objectives. Planning and marking my also be required of you, if so enhanced pay will be considered. We offer a competitive pay ranging from £85.00-£100.00 a day, along with other additional benefits. The school is run by a successful team of supporting staff that are more than willing to go the extra mile to help. The students that attend the client school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, show great behaviour management skills and be able to work well as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have gained qualified teaching status
  • Have experience working with SEN
  • Are registered with the education workforce council
  • Can confidently plan a daily routine for support staff within the classroom
  • Are either Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) or experienced classroom practitioners
  • Team teach trained (desirable)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
