The school is looking for an exceptional candidate to start as a teaching assistant working 1:1 with an Autism (verbal) child in KS2. This role is starting in September running through to the end of July. The school is located in Wood Green, North London and has an 'Excellent' Ofsted rating in all areas. The school has supportive Senior Leadership teams and also offer training programs such as 'Schools Direct'

The ideal candidate will be:

• Experienced working with SEN pupils such as ASC, Down-Syndrome, ADHD, SEMH
• Ideally have experience using Makaton and PECs
• Ideally have restraint training (e.g. team teach)
• Experience working 1:1 with SEN children
• Experience working in Primary School
