Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant looking for your next challenge? Have you supported children with Disabilities or children who have Special Educational Needs in the past?

Teaching Personnel Ltd are currently working with a number of Primary School's, in Havering and the surrounding areas and we have been asked to find enthusiastic support staff to work across daily, short-term and long-term contracts.

To be successful for this job role you will need to have some of the following;

  • Have some experience supporting children with SEN/D
  • Be experienced supporting learning in the classroom
  • Have UK work experience supporting children with SEN/D
  • Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies
  • Be flexible and reliable to take on last minute bookings if required
  • Be prepared for every day to be entirely different to the last!

To be considered for the role candidates must undergo an enhanced DBS check (if not already in possession of a Child Workforce DBS registered on the online update service) and be able to provide details of two references prior to registration.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
