SEN Class Teacher

Are you interested in working with Autism Pupils? Would you like to become an SEN Teacher?

Our Autism Specialist School is currently looking for a teacher to join our team starting as soon as possible. Our School predominently caters for children who havea diagnosis of Autism or other learning disabilities. We are a residential school who can provide education to 9-19 year old pupils.

We have excellent facilities on site and our school area is mostly purpose built. We will provide you with plenty of CPD to support you with building upon your SEN knowledge. 

We are looking for someone who...

• Can teach the whole curriculum, mostly at P-Level and KS1 level 
• Is compassionate, nurturing and able to think outside the box
• Ideally has experience with Autistic students or SEN pupils previously (This is not essential, there is plenty of experienced staff on hand to support you, but any knowledge would be benefical)
• Has good behaviour management skills
• Is patient and resilient

We will consider a Primary or Secondary qualified teacher for this role. The position is a full time permanent position to start as soon as possible.
