KS2 Teaching Assistant Required (M15)

Are you an aspiring graduate looking for routes into teaching and kick starting your career in education?

A 'GOOD' school in Manchester (M15) are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their vivacious and hard-working staff. You will work with SEN students identified with EBD (emotional behavioural disorder) on both a 1:1 basis and with small groups and will contribute towards a purposeful learning environment by supporting classroom teachers in teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with SEN and will have outstanding inter-personal skills. You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively in a team. Experience of EBD and phonic schemes will be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will,

- Be a recent graduate looking to begin a career in education

- Have recent experience working with children

- Be enthusiastic about inspiring young learners

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
