Behaviour support specialist in Llanelli primary

  • Full time role with year 6 male pupil
  • Team teach training provided
  • Immediate start

Teaching Personnel’s primary consultant in South Wales is recruiting Behaviour Buddies in Llanelli primary schools. Behaviour Buddies challenge and motivate pupils, promoting and reinforcing self esteem alongside providing levels of individual pastoral support to pupils. Behaviour buddies contribute to raising achievements by aiming to improve school attendance and provide a specialist service to assist schools in meeting their obligations in relation to school attendance. Behaviour buddies can also offer a safe, welcoming environment for learning and positive emotional experiences for pupils who require additional nurture and support. They also improve pupils’ confidence and social skills in order for them to contribute successfully to their class.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
