Teaching Personnel is working alongside a welcoming primary school in Stretford to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher for a full-time position commencing in December 2026.

The Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils' academic progress, confidence, and personal development during this important phase of their education.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Supporting pupils in preparation for their transition into Key Stage 2

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Possess a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
• Be committed to helping every child reach their full potential
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
