Working Hours

Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 3:30pm

The Role

As the successful Year 2 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inspiring lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported and valued
• Assess pupil progress effectively and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all learners
• Encourage a love of learning and help children develop confidence, independence, and curiosity

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
• A creative and child-centred approach to teaching and learning
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed
