The Role

As the Year 2 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Create stimulating learning experiences that encourage curiosity and achievement
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to maximise outcomes
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and school life

✅ The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a teacher who:

✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

✔ Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2

✔ Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom practice

✔ Has excellent classroom management and communication skills

✔ Is passionate about delivering high-quality education for all learners

✔ Can effectively support pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs

✔ Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

✔ Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude to the classroom
