‍ The Opportunity

As the Year 1 Teacher, you'll play a vital role in guiding pupils through their transition into Key Stage 1, delivering engaging lessons that foster confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Your Responsibilities

✅ Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the Year 1 curriculum

✅ Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support development

✅ Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed

✅ Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils

✅ Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and wider school staff

✅ Contribute to school events, initiatives, and professional development opportunities

What We're Looking For

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

✔ Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

✔ Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills

✔ Ability to plan and deliver lessons that engage learners of all abilities

✔ Confidence using technology to enhance learning

✔ Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented approach
