Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Moston that is seeking a talented Year 1 Teacher to join their team from October 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on pupils during a key stage of their educational journey within a school that values creativity, inclusion and high-quality teaching.
The Role
As the successful Year 1 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum
- Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports pupil wellbeing and achievement
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure all learners reach their full potential
- Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of all pupils
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and parents to support pupil development
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and its community
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1
✅ Strong classroom management and organisational skills
✅ A creative and engaging approach to teaching
✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
✅ A commitment to inclusion and raising outcomes for all pupils
