Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in Moston that is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team from January 2027. The Role

As the successful Year 1 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress to support strong academic outcomes.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including those requiring additional support.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, staff, and parents to ensure pupils achieve their potential.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and school life.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, preferably in Year 1.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• A creative and engaging approach to delivering lessons.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• A commitment to providing inclusive education and raising achievement for all pupils.
