The Role

Position: Year 1 Teacher
Location: Wythenshawe
Contract: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Start Date: September

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to the Year 1 curriculum
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting learning where needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders
• Contribute to the wider school community and ongoing development initiatives

✅ About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience is advantageous)
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Can effectively differentiate learning to meet a range of needs
• Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• Is a confident communicator and collaborative team member
• Uses technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning
