The Role
Position: Year 1 Teacher
Location: Wythenshawe
Contract: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Start Date: September
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to the Year 1 curriculum
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting learning where needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders
- Contribute to the wider school community and ongoing development initiatives

✅ About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience is advantageous)
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Can effectively differentiate learning to meet a range of needs
- Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
- Is a confident communicator and collaborative team member
- Uses technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
