Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe to recruit a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher for a full-time position starting in January 2027.

The Role

Position: Year 1 Teacher
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)
Start Date: January 2027

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love of learning and support progress across the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Assess and track pupil achievement, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where every child can succeed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and school leaders to ensure excellent outcomes for pupils.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and its community.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• A secure understanding of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 1 expectations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to providing engaging, inclusive and inspiring learning experiences.
