Part-Time Year 5/6 Intervention Teacher

Pay: Competitive daily rate (via agency)
A welcoming and supportive primary school is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September.
This part-time role will involve working with Year 5 and Year 6 pupils who require additional support, delivering targeted intervention sessions to help children close learning gaps, build confidence and achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Deliver small group and targeted intervention lessons in Year 5 and Year 6.
- Provide support in English and mathematics for pupils requiring additional assistance.
- Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
- Work closely with class teachers and school leaders to ensure positive outcomes for pupils.
- Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Demonstrates a passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
