Challenging TA role available in Heston

I am working closely with a fantastic primary school in the Heston area who are currently searching for a talented teaching assistant to work in a split role within the school. A long term, full time position running until at least the end of the academic year, this position is the perfect way to build your experience in a friendly working environment.

The role

Working with small groups of Year 5 pupils focussing on Maths support. Ideal for candidates who have experience raising attainment, especially in KS2. The afternoon session switches focus towards a child in Year 1 with Autism. The child does not have severe behaviour requirements but does require close support during the afternoon session.

The school

An Ofsted rated "Good" school based in Heston, this school has been recently refurbished and has state of the art facilities in place. The Ofsted report cited the following - "Pupils behave well. They enjoy school, are very well cared for and feel safe. Pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is promoted very well and has a positive impact on the school community."

The ideal candidate

Has experience within a primary school setting

Is degree qualified or has a CACHE qualification

Has an updated DBS or is willing to complete one

Is local to Heston or able to travel there on a daily basis

Is easily motivated and versatile
