Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Do you have experience when supporting young people who display challenging behaviour in an education setting and are you looking to work as a Behaviour Support Assistant on a long term basis?

Our client school in Liverpool is looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to join them on a full time basis in September, working in an inclusion focused unit and supporting key students during lessons, enabling them to access the lesson and ensuring progress in academic studies.

- Long term behaviour support assistant post at Bury school

- Good transport links via both tram and road

- Rate of pay dependant on skill set and experience (Up to £60 per day)

- Modern secondary in Bury with excellent provisions for learning

- Immediate start date for experienced Behaviour Support Assistant

“We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant who has previous experience supporting students who display challenging behaviour in lessons and have become disengaged learners. You will be joining a welcoming staff team who can support the transition into a new setting” Head teacher

Working as a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will;

- Undertake structured and agreed learning activities/learning programmes, taking into consideration pupil learning styles, including small group work

- Work with students who have previously been excluded

- Support Looked After Children to help them return to mainstream education

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
