Youth Based Teaching Assistant required in Sheffield

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant based in Sheffield who has a specialism in Youth Work. The post will be to start as soon as possible and will be for the foreseeable future, the exciting possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff.

We are looking for a driven, hard working individual who has extensive youth based experience and knowledge. You will be committed and confident to support pupils in an educational setting, who may display challenging behaviour. You will be patient, confident and committed to making a positive impact in childrens' lives.

You must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with pupils, teaching staff, carers and families.

It is essential that you have the following experience:

• Build up positive and effective relationships with pupils, families, teaching staff and the multi disciplinary team within the school

• Genuine passion for making a different to young peoples lives

• Resilient

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
