The SENCO at our client secondary school wishes to appoint a dedicated Support Assistant who is able to support the needs of an identified pupil with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) requirements.

• Full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant
• Supporting a learner with Social Emotional Mental Health requirements
• Opportunity to earn up to £1200 a month during this position
• Employment for the full academic year - (September 2019 start date)
• Previous experience working with students with SEMH or SEN requirements is essential.

"We are looking for an outstanding SEND experienced Teaching Assistant, who is dedicated to supporting children with various special needs on a 1:1 basis. Experience of working with a range of special needs and challenging behaviour would be desirable but ASC experience is essential. We would be looking for a dynamic SEMH Teaching Assistant who can work confidently with challenging behaviour and students in KS3 and KS4." SENCO

This role will require you to have a strong and authoritative character and be calm when dealing with challenging behaviour. You must be a good role model to the student that you are working alongside and be able to build a good working relationship in order to help them make regular improvements within school.

Our client secondary school is a Church of England secondary school that holds an excellent reputation within the local community. The school is much larger than the average secondary school in the area and currently has approximately 1600 students roll.
