My client is an EBD school looking for behavioural support specialists supporting pupils in both key stage 3 and key stage 4. The key stages are set across two separate sites but are in close proximity of each other.
The Key Stage 3 is a short stay provision with a strong ethos in pupil development not only academically but in emotional development also. Pupils are placed at the KS3 unit for up to 14 weeks at the end of which the aim is for full reintegration back in to mainstream education. The school are looking for candidates who are going to show a lot of enthusiasm and are willing to get involved as part of a team.
The Key Stage 4 provision is long-term with a strong emphasis placed on academic achievement. As pupils at this stage will be working towards their GCSE’s Teaching Assistants will be required to support across all subjects in particular: Maths, English and Science. In addition to this their is also provision on site for NVQ’s and candidates with a strong background in woodwork, brickwork and motor mechanics will also be considered.
If you have experience or feel confident in at least 2 of the following please get in touch:
• Youth Offending Services
• Ex-forces, Military/Police (KS4)
