Are you a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant? Are you looking for that new exciting role? Do you have experience assisting with KS1 – KS4? If so we have the perfect role for you.
Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant for SEMH School within the Sunderland area. All applicants should posses the correct behaviours in order to support SEMH/EBD accompanied by relevant experience. Additional training such as Team Teach and de-escalation is mandatory.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• A UK recognised teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting children with SEMH/EBD and a willingness to learn
• Patient and nurturing mannerism with strong behaviour management skills
The School is situated in Sunderland area hosting approximately 40 pupils, whose special needs cover SEMH/EBD. Creative, challenging and imaginative lessons are at the heart of what this school strives to deliver. The provision of a school environment which allows academic achievement and independence to flourish is an important part of there curriculum offer.
