SEMH Teacher wanted from Easter!

Job description

An OFSTED graded 'Good' school in the Nuneaton area is currently recruiting for a behaviour teacher to work at the school to start from Easter for 1 term. The Secondary school provides specialist support to pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), behaviour problems and SEN such as Autism & ADHD.

Ideally applicants would have experience with SEMH, although this is not essential. All applicants should posses the correct behaviours in order to support SEMH students within the classroom. Additional training such as Team Teach and de-escalation is advantageous.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status, experience supporting and managing challenging behaviour
  • Experience supporting children with SEMH or a willingness to learn
  • Patient and nurturing mannerism with excellent behaviour management skills

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
