Support Assistant required in Burnley

  • Negotiable pay rates £50-65 per day

A specialist School in Burnley is looking for Support Assistants for the new academic year. The School provides support for pupils with SEMH difficulties, challenging behaviours and pupils with Autism.

The School is smaller than average and the pupils in this school can often display very challenging behaviours and therefore the candidate must be confident when dealing with difficult behaviours. The candidate must also have experience working with pupils who have Autism.

The role will be full time and will start on a supply basis. The role is due to continue until the Christmas holidays and could become permanent for the right candidate. The candidate must be willing to commit to a long term role and be passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs.

The candidate must have experience supporting pupils with SEMH difficulties. Have experience working in a challenging environment and be looking for a long term role.
