SEMH Experienced Teacher Required

• Pay rate up to £100 per day!

Teaching Personnel work closely with a pupil referral unit in Swansea and have been approached to find an experienced teacher to fill the vacancy.

We deal with a range of schools across South Wales, who cater for students who have been excluded or are in the process of being excluded and require additional support.

You must have experience supporting students who can display very challenging behaviour however; this does not have to be in a school-based environment. Teaching Personnel also recruit candidates who have undertaken youth work, supported young offenders or those at risk of re-offending and those who have worked in secure or medical units. You must have the ability to build a rapport with a non-judgemental attitude and be passionate about improving the lives of young people.

The classes are smaller than mainstream and you’ll have the support of several TA’s so you will have a really strong opportunity to positively change a child’s life.

The ideal candidate will be willing to work on a supply basis initially whilst we seek a longer term opportunity for you. Longer term opportunities usually arise quickly for those candidates who show initiative, are proactive and receive positive feedback from their supply assignments.
