We’re seeking Cover Supervisors to deliver engaging lessons in one of our secondary SEMH schools in the Bolton area. You’ll be supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and low-level SEN needs, helping them build confidence and engage positively with learning.


As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, pre-prepared lessons
  • Manage behaviour with a calm and patient approach
  • Support a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Encourage pupil engagement and boost confidence
  • Work in line with EHCPs to meet individual needs
  • Adapt activities to suit diverse learning styles

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with a resilient, patient, and compassionate approach
  • Experience working with children or vulnerable adults with SEN needs
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence in delivering lessons and managing a classroom
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

✅ Requirements:

  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the update service
  • At least two professional references covering the past 2 years
  • Safeguarding training (provided)
  • Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive mindset
  • UK right to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
