Teaching Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Special Educational Needs SEN Teaching Assistant to fill a 1:1 role working with a Year 5 child with Autism within a specialist SEN school. This role is to work in a specialised SEN setting in the Knaresborough area working with a child with Autism therefore ASC experience is necessary.

In this role as an SEN TA you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on a young person's life, supporting them with both academic work and pastorally across school.

We need an SEN Teaching Assistant who possess relevant qualifications and specific experience in relation to Special Educational Needs SEN. The successful applicants should be resilient, consistent and empathetic. You should have high expectations of all the pupils, your support should enable them to succeed and aid them in their achievements.

We are looking for individuals who are able to provide strong examples of occasions when you have worked with students with Autism.

If you have the necessary skills that allow you to understand, communicate and effectively support young Autistic pupils and play an important part in their learning and development we would love to hear from you.
