Secondary Special Needs Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking for newly qualified or experienced teachers to work in schools in and around Barnsley. You will be employed by Teaching Personnel, going into the local schools we work with. You will be paid weekly and earn between £110-£165 a day dependent on the role and experience.

About the role:

• Teaching students aged 11-19 with Special Educational Needs (for example autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities)
• Plan and deliver stimulating lessons that are accessible for pupils at varying academic stages
• You will be supported by a welcoming team of staff including teaching assistants
• Liaise with parents/carers and other outside agencies such as medical staff to ensure your students are getting the best care
• Plan and lead children in off-site enrichment activities

More about you:

• We are looking for teachers with different specialisms, be that core subjects or creative ones
• You may be required to travel between roles so a drivers license and your own vehicle is preferential
• Previous teaching experience and/or experience helping students with Special Educational Needs is preferred
• We are looking for qualified and newly qualified teachers
