Primary HLTA
Are you a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a love for Primary School Teaching? Even if you’re looking for work immediately or planning ahead, Teaching Personnel would be the perfect place for you to start! We are seeking for new people to join one of the multiple settings we have across Sheffield.
Location: South Sheffield, Sheffield
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible
Salary: Competitive Rate
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
About the Role:
Our ideal candidate…
- Can support classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons
- Helps create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Will be able to provide 1-1 support to students where needed, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
- Helps maintain the high expectations for learning and behaviour that the school hold
- Will always support students in activities, or interventions, building confidence and knowledge
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or relevant experience
- Preferred experience in a KS1/KS2 environment
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- A willingness to support pupils with additional needs when required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
