I am working with a secondary school in Northampton, that are looking to secure a long term Maths teacher to start with them for the new academic year.

The school
This secondary school has been graded good by Oftsed and continues to be a high achieving and a truly non-selective comprehensive. The school is a reflective, self-critical institution that focuses on developing learning and teaching. They are delighted with their achievements and the progress they have made in recent years, but they are ambitious in their desire to continue to improve.
Maths Teacher
This position will suit either a newly qualified or experienced Maths teacher who is committed to the teaching and learning of the students and has the ability to teach outstanding Maths lessons up to KS5. The Maths department is a very experienced facility and therefore the successful individual will be highly supported and have access to shared planning.

In order to be successful in this role you must meet the following criteria:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong Maths Subject knowledge
Be able to start a new teaching position in September 2018
Have strong classroom management skills

*To qualify a teacher must work 2 days and a Teaching Assistant must work 5 days through Teaching Personnel.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
