Secondary Assistant (SEN)

The position will be working predominately with children 11-16 year old pupils who have verity of Special Education Needs. Ideally you will have a flexible nature and be prepared to cover across all years where needed.

Having experience in supporting children who display challenging behaviour or have a variety of SEN is not essential but beneficial to fully flourish within this role.

The Bury school require individuals who are able to work with 12-16 year olds who have a range of special educational needs including; moderate, severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties.

The successful teaching assistant for this post will be a Psychology Graduate and as a result will have a good theoretical understanding of special educational needs. You must also be a confident and a resilient teaching assistant who holds a genuine desire to help young people with SEN achieve.
