Job description

Do you have experience supporting young people with additional needs?

A specialist education provision in Uxbridge is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support learners aged 16-24 with Autism and a range of additional needs.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be working closely with students, helping them access learning, develop independence and build confidence both in and out of the classroom.

We're looking for people who have experience as:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Learning Support Assistant
  • Behaviour Mentor
  • Youth Worker
  • Support Worker
  • Care Worker
  • Cover Supervisor
  • Teaching Assistant

You'll need:

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Confidence supporting individuals with additional needs
  • A calm and proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to commit to a full-time role

Role Details:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am - 4:00pm
  • Long-term position
  • Immediate start available
  • Uxbridge location

This role would suit someone looking to build a career within SEN education or somebody already experienced in supporting learners with Autism and additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
