Science Teaching Assistant

Are you a Science Graduate seeking looking to work as a Science Teaching Assistant in secondary schools? Do you have experience working with young people? Or do you have experience as a Science technician?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school located in the Trafford area of Manchester, in order to recruit a Science Teaching Assistant who can also work as a technician. This Science Teaching Assistant vacancy is for a full time position, starting after October half term, and continuing until the summer. There is also the possibility of a school based contract for the successful Science Teaching Assistant. The school are seeking a Science Teaching Assistant who has a genuine interest in education, and can engage their pupils in the Science subject. Technician experience is desired but not essential. The successful Science Teaching Assistant will display good behaviour and classroom management skills when working with small groups of pupils.

This position is ideal for a Science Graduate looking to gain classroom based experience prior to going onto your teacher training.
