Most recently I have had several long term roles where you would be expected to teach all three science subjects up to GCSE but have a specialism in one area to particularly boost the results and grades of the students.

With this demand becoming very high I am looking to recruit Good or Outsanding Science Teachers who are looking for their next long-term role.

Here at Teaching Personnel we have a high number of opportunities for 'Good' or 'Outstanding' teachers who are looking for their next long-term role.

If you have a passion for Science and want to inspire your students then the talented, enthusiastic and very supportive Science department at this local secondary school are looking for you!

My Secondary School clients across the West Yorkshire region, are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join their successful departments. These positions will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range at KS3 and KS4. This is an exciting prospect to be part of this thriving team, which supports students to achieve their potential up to GCSE. The team work very collaboratively and are always keen to develop their pedagogy and adopt new approaches. This role will be to start as soon as possible. Applications from experienced teachers and from newly qualified teachers are welcome.

I am seeking Secondary Science Teachers who:

  • Have worked in UK secondary schools previously
  • Taught 9-1 GCSE Science
  • Can adapt to new situations quickly & have the ability to think on your feet
  • Have an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
  • Hold QTS, a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service

We offer fantastic rates of pay, stable long term work on a part/full time basis across West Yorkshire. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like more information. If this sounds like your next challenge, please call Tom on 0113 2240232 or forward me a copy of your most recent CV and I will be more than happy to assist.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
