Job description

Graded Outstanding by Ofsted our partner school in Ashton Under-Lyne in Tameside require a Science teacher for an upcoming maternity scheduled to start in April or May. This is a full time Science teaching post delivering Science across KS3 and KS4 so previous experience of this is essential. You will be working within a high performing Science department that achieves above national averages academically, so the successful Science teacher will need to have a proven track record of academic success. The maternity cover will continue until January 2019 initially dependant on the returning teacher.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher looking to work in a supportive secondary school or an experienced practitioner coming to the end of a contract. The timetable will consist of delivering all science with a specialism of Physics or Chemistry being ideal.

Situated in the OL6 post code the school has excellent tram an bus routes form central Manchester and the surrounding areas for those on public transport.
