Well regarded secondary school in Oldham seek to hire a Science teacher for a temporary post in January 2018.
Due to staffing changes within their large department, our partner school in Oldham are looking to recruit a Teacher of Science for the final two terms of this academic year, interviews and a lesson observation are being arranged at short notice upon the schools return from the half term break (Monday 6th November).
Situated in Oldham, close to the border with Rochdale and roughly 10 minutes from the M62 motorway, this is a large mixed 11-18 secondary with an excellent reputation. The incoming Science teacher will be have a set timetable to suit their specialist area, KS5 teaching experience is not essential but would be an advantage. During their last inspection, the school was graded as good overall by Ofsted; the Head teachers aim is to become outstanding in time for the next Ofsted visit. The school are happy to consider Science teachers of all experience levels, NQT or more experienced practitioners and also any specialist area, you will be required to teach your specialism to GCSE.
