Secondary School Science Teacher required

The School

Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School in Hull, to recruit a Science Teacher to undertake a longer term position for the Summer Term. The school is based in the West of the city and is working to making improvements of their latest Ofsted rating of 'Requires Improvement'. At the end of the last academic year, the school applied for 'Academy' conversion in order to continue with their improvements and improve the teaching levels across the school.

The Role

As a Science Teacher in this school, you will be required to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils and have a relevant and recent understanding of the curriculum. You should be able to demonstrate previous successes and provide examples of these if and when required. You should be confident in providing additional support in order for pupils to successfully meet their required results expectations.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
