Science Teacher Part-Time - Cheadle Hulme

Are you a Science teacher seeking your next part time Science teaching position?

A co-educational secondary school in the Cheadle Hulme area of Manchester is seeking a part-time Science teacher to join their high achieving Science department. The Science teaching vacancy is due to a member of the Science faculty retiring from the school at the end of the academic year. This vacancy is for a part-time Science teaching position, starting in September. The vibrant school is seeking a Science teacher who can deliver engaging practical and theory lessons. The successful Science teacher will specialise in either Biology or Chemistry and be able to teach in this up to KS4, as well as being able to teach across the Sciences up to KS3.

The high achieving secondary school is located in the Cheadle Hulme area of Manchester. The grand school building is surrounded by leafy school grounds and creates a peaceful learning environment for pupils. The Outstanding Ofsted graded secondary school sets high standards for both pupils and teachers, encouraging every member of the school environment to strive for success and reach their full potential. The school offers a broad and varied curriculum, as well as a wide range of extra curricular activities. This encourages pupils to grow and develop as individuals, as the school emphasises the importance of not solely focusing on academic achievement.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
