Classroom Support Worker - SEN/SEMH Schools

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? We are currently recruiting Classroom Support Workers to work on a day-to-day basis within SEN and SEMH schools.

This role may involve providing 1:1 support for a pupil or working as part of the wider classroom team, helping students access learning and achieve positive outcomes.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs within the classroom.
• Providing 1:1 support or small group interventions.
• Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive engagement.
• Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
• Working closely with teaching staff to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working within SEN, SEMH, care, youth work, or support settings.
• Confidence supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviours.
• A calm, resilient, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for helping young people reach their full potential.

Start Date: October 2026 (subject to satisfactory vetting and compliance checks).
