About the role

Science Teacher (biology, chemistry or physics)

Require experience working in secondary schools at KS3-5 level

There are full-time roles available working 5 days a week; 8:30am - 3:30pm

A school is looking for teachers to work long term role

Creating engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum aimed at getting children excited and interested in learning

Teachers will be expected to plan and prepare lessons as well as marking, assessing and providing feedback on the students work

The ideal candidate would be willing to participate in school activities; any experience with extra curricular events would be welcome

About the School

I have a modern school in Kingston with extensive facilities aimed at assisting staff, such as smart boards, ICT suits and state of the art science labs. The school are looking to three Science teachers with extensive experience at KS3-5 level, with one of these positions open to graduates (a large amount of experience is not necessary for this specific role). Alongside the facilities to assist teaching the school also provide LSAs in class to ensure good behaviour and equal progress.

Ofsted have rated the school as "outstanding" and have talented and cohesive leadership. They were quote saying:

"Staff and pupils are very positive about your leadership and you have the unqualified support of governors."

"Those staff, pupils and parents who responded to the Ofsted surveys are proud of the school and its traditions; the large majority confirm that pupils are safe and happy at school."

They have an ethos centred on partnership; the staff ensure students achieve their full potential, not just academically, but personally and socially.


The school is accessible via Kingston station (13 minute walk).


A UK recognised teaching qualification (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)

Teachers would require experience teaching Science at secondary level (from KS3-KS5)
