Are you a Newly Qualified or Fully Qualified Teacher? Are you seeking work this academic year? Have you considered working on supply?
Teaching Personnel work with Secondary Schools across the Chelmsford and Mid Essex area. Specifically, we are recruiting Teachers, both newly qualified teachers and fully qualified teachers, with specialising in Science to work on a supply basis in Secondary Schools. As a supply teacher you will be required to work across schools within your catchment area on temporary assignments.
Working as a supply teacher means you will be available to cover day-to-day, short-term and long-term bookings. You may therefore be required to cover absence due to periods of sickness, training days, school trips, maternity leave etc.
Being a supply teacher will enable you to manage your own time and availability. You therefore have the opportunity to work part-time or full-time depending on prior commitments. It is also possible for temporary positions to become permanent depending on the teacher and the needs of the school.
To be successful in these positions you must therefore have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Subject Specialism in Science
- Proven teaching experience
- Flexibility to work across schools in Chelmsford and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
If you are interested to work as a supply teacher please send an up to date CV and covering letter to Summer Smith by following the link on this page.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
