Job description

Due to restructuring in their Science department, our client school in Trafford are looking to appoint a Science teacher in September, to join them for a fixed term position teaching Science across KS3 and GCSE.

- Full time Science teaching position, September 2018 start date

- Earn £110 - £165 per day on supply initial, payment a week in arrears

The incoming Science teacher will be required to teach the AQA combined spec, with the Key Stage 3 curriculum designed to prepare students for their GCSE examinations in Key Stage 4. All KS4 Science is taught through Biology, Chemistry and Physics units with a large majority of students opting to take the combined science programme of study.

The school is slight smaller than the average secondary school with less than 800 students currently attending, though is the school of choice for a large majority of students and parents in the local community due to the proven track record of delivering excellent results across both Key Stage 3 and 4. Situated in the heart of Trafford with a neighbouring tram stop, this school is easy to commute from Manchester city centre and surrounding areas for non-drivers.
